633 nm Confocal Raman spectrometer
The Raman microscope is a suitable tool to analyze the distribution of molecules in microstructures such as living cells and microcrystals. The laboratory-made 633 nm-excited Raman microscopic system in USIL has the sub-um lateral resolution and enables the Raman imaging of the samples microstructures through a piezoelectric nanopositioning stage as well as the acquisition of the precise Raman data of the focal point.
